About Axiom

Axiom was set up by Andy Reader, a highly experienced Learning and Development professional for over thirty years. In that time, he has held a variety of roles in various companies including: in-house Delivery Specialist in sales and finance, Senior Training Consultant in a respected London consultancy, Leadership Training Manager in a top three UK bank and Lead Manager for Safety and Compliance training in a major resource company.

Between these roles, Andy also held a number of Operational Management positions, managing teams from five to fifty people in a diverse range of environments. These roles gave him a first-hand understanding of the pressures faced by managers and staff on the front-line and the importance of staff development to long-term business success. 

He has qualifications in both training and business, having gained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Training at Leicester University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Northampton University.

This wealth of academic knowledge and business experience has all now been brought to Axiom and serves as the backbone to the company, supporting our service delivery for the benefit of our customers.

Easy to say, not so easy to do! We work very hard and pay great attention to getting the quality right, first time. Quality in everything: the delivery, the design, the administration, the advice….the big things and the small things.

 

Practicality  

Experience has shown us that people want practical skills and techniques that are easy to implement in the workplace. We want to make it easy for people to develop, because if it is, they will stick at it. This does not mean dumbing down! Being able to take the complex and make it understandable and relevant is the sign of a great trainer.

Whatever the solution is…..it’s your solution, not somebody else’s we have squeezed you into. Analysing your situation and your needs helps us to recommend and design a solution that is relevant, that fits and that works….. first time!

The results of working with us are that skills improve, confidence increases and commitments are made.
